“But how can you be so happy?”
“But how can you be so happy despite it all?”
I shake my head.
“What do you mean?”
my answer continues…
“Happiness just is. Happiness does not depend on me. Wether I feel it or not, happiness is there and it is up to me to acknowledge it and know that it is there even though I feel other things a lot more at this precise moment. Happiness is like love. It is a field you travel in.
And you, what is stopping you from tuning in that field?
Why are you really feeling so miserable?
“Bad” things happen. And I quote “bad” because “bad” is just a label, something that is unpleasant to you. The “bad” is only a tiny portion of life. And it needs to be seen, carried and felt so that we appropriate the spiritual meaning of duality. “Things that appear as opposites are in fact only two extremes of the same thing.” Life is an experience meant to be embraced, not mastered. There is no right or wrong, good or bad. Experiences are opportunities; nothing more, nothing less.
You will go through things you do not want to go through, but you have to remember that happiness is always just right at the corner of your eyes. And sometimes you really just got to let that light shine through your cracks.
Go heal now; there is so much more to life than what you think there is.
